Old Maps

I end up searching for old maps every once in a while, and never remember the best way to do it.

• Start with David Rumsey’s site and use the “geofencer” tool
• Zoom in to the region of interest
• select maps on the right to overlay
• drag the maps to reorder them (bottom one seems to be on top)

OR

• Find a map on David Rumsey’s site, and then click on “overlay and compare” to find other maps at the same location
